A small town girl wants to leave home for the big city, and has to get up the courage to leave her friends and family to start a life of her own.

1. To Be Free - This movement is based on music from Steve Reich's Fourth Movement for Four Sections. The girl's struggle between staying home and leaving becomes the driving force for this movement, as the minimalist music becomes darker and more abrupt.

2. Come With Me - The girl tries to convince her friends and family to come with her, but they are reluctant. This movement is based on the song "Come Sail Away" by Styx.

3. Leaving Home - A direct segue from the second movement, this movement recapitulates themes from throughout the show as the girl leaves home to start a life of her own.
