This new original composition tells the dramatic story of a ship captain and his crew setting sail in search of new land. This show will take your audience on a journey full of emotion, excitement and anticipation as the sailors risk everything they have in search of a new land.

1. The Voyage Begins
The show begins with the sounds of a ship dock coming to life in the dark hours of the morning. The small ensemble plays somberly as the crew says goodbye to their families, ideally a combination of instrumentalists and color guard members. The trumpet soloist at the end of the small ensemble represents the captain of the ship, the violin solo represents his wife. They embrace as they say goodbye for the last time before the ship sets sail. The dock comes to life as the music and tempo build, and the sun comes up as the first full band impact hits. A huge burst of color in the guard would fit perfectly. The ship sails the waters on the start of a long voyage.

2. Into the Storm
The crew fights for their lives against the biggest storm they've ever encountered. Intense percussion features, wind features and tempos will keep the audience on the edge of their seats.

3. Longing for Home
As the captain surveys the vast damage of the storm, his spirit, ship and crew nearly broken.

4. New Land
After surviving the biggest storm of their lives, the crew finally ends their journey triumphantly and succeeds in finding new land.
