Nick received his bachelors degree in music education from The University of Maryland in College Park, MD. He was in the marching band each year, and was selected section leader his last two years there. Nick marched in the Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps on baritone in 2003, 2005 and 2006, selected as section leader his age out year.

Nick has written drill and consulted with many championship level bands throughout the east coast, and specializes in writing for medium-small bands. He has extensive experience in all visual aspects, including drill writing, teaching, visual basics instruction and overall show design.
