Sean Combes is currently one of two percussion designer/arrangers and the front ensemble coordinator for Powhatan Bands & Ensemble, active in both BOA and WGI. They are also a 6 time AIA Percussion Open Class Champion. Sean is also an active clinician and consultant for various groups around Virginia and North Carolina. He also maintains a private studio in Richmond, VA.

As a performer, Sean was a member of The Cavaliers in 2001 as well as a PASIC clinic participant. He was also a member of the VCU Wind Ensemble and Percussion Ensemble as well as a guest performer for various recitals and concerts. Sean is also a freelance percussionist in the Richmond, VA area.
